We had a cool day spending time with 16 teachers from all around North Carolina. The learned about Vaccinium and Rubus Teams at NCSU. They tasted and ranked 12 blueberry cultivars. The also had a chance to extract DNA from blueberry and strawberry.

Taking Nicole and Ryan to blueberry farm to learn more about different varieties. 
O'Neal was bred and developed jointly by NCSU and USDA. Many growers and nurseries like it due to various reasons. It made everyone well-off. Thanks to Liz Tseng for sending this photo from California.
